Ingredients :
Potatoes – 300 g
Soya meat (or minced meat) – 150 gr
Tomato – 300 g
Tinned beans – 300 g
Beet – 150g
Carrots – 150 g
Cabbage – 150 g
Sunflower seeds – 2 tbsp.
Ghee – 35 g.
Caraway seed – 0,5 tsp.
Paprika – 0,5 tsp.
Bay leaf – 2 pcs.
In a saucepan with a thick bottom, fry sunflower seeds until golden, add the ghee, paprika and ground cumin. Then add the soy minced meat (or pre-cooked soy meat). Grate beets and carrots, dice tomato and put everything in a pot, add some boiling water, stew for 5 minutes. Then add diced potatoes and shredded cabbage, bay leaf, pour boiling water. Cook for 15 minutes. Pour a part of our borscht into the blender bowl, beat it into a puree and send it back to the saucepan. Bring to a boil, turn off the heat and let stand .
