DRESSING VEGETABLE SALAD

Fresh vegetables are always good on the holiday table! And of course, it’s hard to imagine New Year’s salads 2019 without a tasty vegetable mix. The combination of broccoli, tomatoes, bell peppers and leafy greens is sure to make a proper impression this holiday night.

To prepare this dish for 3 to 4 servings, you will need:

Broccoli – 1 medium sized cauldron;
tomatoes – 2 or 3 medium;
Bulgarian bell pepper – 2 medium sized pieces;
celery – 1 stalk;
Sprouted buckwheat (can be replaced with chia or quinoa seeds) – a small handful.
To serve this dish you will need a deep salad bowl. To more fully enjoy the beauty of this composition, we recommend taking a clear salad bowl made of thick glass.

Break the broccoli into florets. The stem is not needed. Rinse the florets in boiling water and put them in the salad bowl. Cut tomatoes and peppers into medium slices. Dice the celery stalks. Add the ingredients to a salad bowl and mix. Sprinkle the seeds of germinated buckwheat on top of the mix. To spice up the taste, you can dress the salad with a drop of lemon and/or a drop of straight olive oil. This salad is very tender. Despite the variety of ingredients, it is light, so it will not affect the usual feeling of well-being. A couple of spoonfuls of this combination is quite acceptable to eat late at night and even at night.

Note

This salad consists of juicy vegetables. Therefore, it should not be made in advance. It is enough to chop the components 1-1.5 hours before serving. And it is better to prepare the combination immediately before serving.

It is worth noting that this dish is really “dressed up” and is ideal for the holiday table. But, unfortunately, this mix won’t stay on the table long. Those who like fresh, spicy vegetable flavor really like it.
