SOAKED APPLES WITH HONEY

Ingredients :

Apples
Currant, mint and cherry leaves
Brine for 10 liters of water: 200-300g honey, 150g salt, 100g rye flour

Lay a thin layer of currant leaves on the bottom of a container, put apples on top in 2 layers, then cover them with a thin layer of cherry leaves, 2 layers of apples again, then a very thin layer of mint and apples. On the top layer of apples should be placed leaves (if you want – assorted) and 2-3 sprigs of mint, cover with a plate, put a weight on it. Dissolve all the ingredients for brine in warm boiled water, let cool completely, stir, pour into a container with apples (without removing the weight!). Make sure that during the soaking the bowl was always covered with liquid, otherwise the apples will spoil. Keep the apples at a temperature of +15-18 degrees, ready apples will be ready in 4-6 weeks.

Have a nice meal!
