SPICY NEW YEAR SALAD

For those who want to see something “edgy” on the holiday table, a spicy salad of feta cheese, vegetables and greens will do. The highlight of this invention is that the presented combination includes fried feta cheese. This is very tasty! But if anyone finds this option unacceptable for himself, it is quite possible to get by with regular feta cheese without heat treatment. All the same, the salad will be incredibly delicious! And most importantly, festive.

To prepare 3-4 servings you need:

feta cheese (adygeyan or tofu) – 200 grams;
Fresh lettuce – 1 bunch;
Any greens (parsley, coriander, dill) – to taste;
fresh tomatoes – 2 medium pieces;
Fresh cucumbers – 1 large or 2 medium ones.
The dish is convenient to serve in a deep salad bowl.

The most difficult thing in the preparation of this composition is to fry the feta cheese. To do this, you need to heat a frying pan and drop cubes of feta cheese on its surface. Quickly stirring, bring the product to the appearance of a golden crust. All, the cheese is ready. Next, you need to cut pre-washed vegetables, as for the usual vegetable salad. Wash and tear greens and salad leaves. The first layer in the salad bowl is placed lettuce leaves, then lay out the vegetables. The final element is cubes of feta cheese and greens. If you don’t want to fry the feta, you can cut the cheese slices up a bit. It will be very presentable and original.

Fresh vegetables in this composition have a feature of strongly give up the juice. Therefore it is recommended to prepare this dish right before serving. At most it is allowed to cut the components 30-40 minutes before the festive feast.
