Chapati cakes with herbs

Ingredients :

Flour – 2 tbsp. (you can take 1 tbsp. of regular flour and 1 tbsp. of coarse flour)
Wild herbs (e.g., gout, field thistle, nettle) fresh or dried in powder
Water – 1 tbsp.
Spices – to taste
Melted butter (you can replace it with plain butter) – for greasing the cakes

Wash the greens, mix in a blender with water until smooth (i.e., make a green smoothie). The more greens, the brighter the green color of tortillas will get.

Add flour and spices to the green mass. Knead the dough. It should be dense consistency and not sticking to your hands. If necessary, add more flour. Knead the dough for a while, then cover it and leave for about half an hour.

Put the pan on the stove, and while it heats up, roll out the tortillas in a thin layer. Make a few punctures in the tortillas with a fork, so that they do not puff up when frying.

In a preheated dry frying pan (no oil), fry the tortillas on both sides until golden brown.

Brush the ready tortillas with butter. The dish is ready!

Have a nice meal!
