Ingredients :
Flour – 300 g
Butter – 200 gr
Dates – 8 pcs.
Vanilla or cinnamon (optional)
coarse salt – 2 tsp.
Soda – 1 tsp.
Nuts – 200 gr (any)
Rinse dates with hot water, remove the hard skin and remove the seeds. Sift the flour and mix with baking soda (extinguished with vinegar), salt, dates and butter to a crumb. It is convenient to do this with a food processor. Add nuts (raisins and apricots can also be added), mix, roll out the dough 1 cm thick, cut into squares, put it on a baking tray and bake for 15 minutes at 220 C. If necessary, turn down the temperature to 180 C.
