Sauces are an excellent flavor addition to various hot dishes – stuffed cabbage rolls, casseroles, cutlets, meatballs.
Tomato sauce is a favorite of many housewives, as it has a pleasant, sweet and sour taste, delicate consistency, versatile in use, to the beautiful appearance.
All of the ingredients are available in grocery stores, so it’s easy to make the sauce.
Vegetarian tomato sauce: ingredients
Wheat flour – 4 tablespoons;
Fresh tomato – 200 grams;
Butter – 50 grams;
Purified water – 100 milliliters;
Honey – 2 teaspoons;
Sea salt – 1 teaspoon;
Home spice “Universalna” – 1 teaspoon;
Black pepper – 5 peas;
Orange Pepper – 5 peas;
Provence” herbs – 1/2 teaspoon;
We fry the flour on a dry (no oil) pan until golden brown and send it to the pan, where the sauce will be cooked;
Tomato cut in half, remove the stalk and grate on a fine grater (discard the skin from the tomato after rubbing), stew in a pan with oil for 3 minutes;
On a chopping board, with a rolling pin, mash the black pepper and paprika, add the spices to the tomato and Provence herbs;
Combine the flour with the tomato, stir with a fork until smooth, then add the water, honey, salt, seasoning “Universal”, once again stir thoroughly and place on the burner;
At medium temperature, stirring constantly, bring the sauce to a gentle boil and remove from the burner.
