What products will we use for this wonderful dish?
Ingredients for the vegetarian fish
Sea kale (ground in a coffee grinder) – 1 teaspoon (with a handful);
Sea kale (leafy) sized cheese slices – 16 plates;
Adygean cheese, 4 x 4 centimeters, 1 centimeter thick – 8 pieces;
Soy sauce – 3 tablespoons;
Cooking vegetarian fish
Cut the adygeyan cheese into slices of the above size. On one side we smear it with soy sauce, sprinkle it with ground seaweed, cover it with a plate of seaweed, turn it over and put it on a plate. Do the same with the second side. Carry out such manipulations with all slices. When all pieces of cheese are “wrapped” in the sea-kale, we cover with the second plate and leave it to infuse for 30 minutes.
While our veggie fish “rests,” prepare the flax batter.
Ingredients for the batter
Flax flour – 20 grams;
Wheat flour – 50 gr;
Purified water – 130 grams;
Sunflower oil – 3-4 tablespoons.
Preparation of batter
Grind the flax seeds in a coffee grinder, poured into a bowl, add the flour, water and mix the dough with a spoon, the consistency of thick sour cream, until a homogeneous texture
When the dough is ready, we proceed to the most important process – frying vegetarian fish.
On a burner (at medium temperature) put a frying pan, pour oil into it. Then, accurately, we put a piece of cheese in batter, dip it on one side, turn it over with a fork and dip on the other side, then put it into the pan. And do the same with all the pieces. After about five minutes, when the batter has baked on one side, turn the pieces on the other side and finish cooking. Do not overcook, just until the batter is baked.
Our vegetarian fried fish is ready.
You can serve rice or mashed potatoes as a side dish to the vegetarian fish.
Have a nice meal, friends!
