Vegetarian rolls: step by step instructions

What can be used to make vegetarian rolls at home with your hands?
Today we’re going to look at two ways to make veggie rolls, for which we’ll need four fillers – fresh cucumber, avocado, sweet peppers and cottage cheese – a great combination, coupled with seaweed and rice.
Sea kale is a natural product of the sea; it’s just a treasure trove of useful macro and micronutrients found in sea water. And the smell of the sea gives the dish cooked from seaweed a special attraction. In addition, it is low-calorie.
In 100 grams of seaweed contains:
Protein – 0.9 mg;
Fats – 0,2 mg;
Carbohydrates – 3,0 mg.
As well as a full vitamin complex of B group and vitamins A, D, E, C, important for the human body trace elements – iron, iodine, potassium, silicon, magnesium, sodium, sulfur, phosphorus.
Rice is a common cereal; almost no housewife can do without it. In addition, this cereal is not the most high-caloric – 320 kcal.
100 grams of rice contains:
Protein – 7 mg;
Fats – 0.6 mg;
Carbohydrates – 7 mg.
There are also vitamin complexes of the B group, E, PP, and amino acids necessary for the human body as well as macro- and microelements – magnesium, manganese, molybdenum, copper, sulfur, selenium, phosphorus and chromium.
Essential Ingredients:
Sea kale, leafy – 4 leaves;
Rice usual (round) – 200 grams;
Purified water – 350 ml;
Fresh cucumber (medium) – 1/2 piece;
Cheese “Homemade” – 50 grams;
Ripe avocado (soft) – 1/2 piece;
Sweet pepper (red) – 1/3 piece;
Sesame seed – 2 tablespoons;
Mustard live (not dry) – 2 tablespoons.
How to make vegetarian rolls
- Rice take the most common (not steamed, round), washed to pure water and cook until ready to cook on a stove at medium temperature. The water should evaporate completely, and the rice should be similar to the usual thick porridge. To ensure that the rice fell all the water and does not stick, occasionally stir with a spoon, lifting it from the bottom of the pan;
- cucumber is washed in water, peel the skin and cut along the length of the thin slices, a diameter of 0.5 x 0.5 cm;
- Slice the cheese into long thin slices, 0.5 cm x 0.5 cm in diameter; 4;
Wash the avocado, remove the skin, remove the pit and cut into thin slices along the entire length;
- Wash and peel the bell peppers, remove the seeds and cut them in thin strips along their length;
- Sesame seeds slightly dried in a dry pan until lightly blackened;
- Cut flat sheets of seaweed in half, so that one sheet makes two rectangles, approximately 19 x 10 cm;
- Put a food bag on the mat, or tighten it with cling film.
Spread the mat on the table, put a sheet of seaweed on it, lay the boiled rice along the whole plane, no more than 0.3 cm thick, then from the edge all the way along the length of the sheet:
8.1 Cut cucumber into julienne strips;
8.2 Similar to the cucumber, avocado straws;
8.3. On top of the cucumber and avocado, pour a thin strip of sesame seeds;
- Carefully, lift the edge of the mat, and begin to roll, lightly pressing it with your fingers along its length. It turns out a long, thin tube.
- On the top of the tube, dot, at equal distances from each other, apply mustard and cut it into six pieces. The mustard drop should be in the middle of the roll;
- We wrap the four rectangular sheets in this way, cut them up and lay them on a plate.
- Now we change the stuffing and lay it on the remaining four sheets:
12.1. boiled rice;
12.2. Straw cheese;
12.3. Next to the cheese, lay a line of sweet peppers;
12.4. Sprinkle the top with sesame seeds;
- Next, as in steps 9, 10, 11.
Our wonderful vegetarian rolls with two fillings are ready.
