Ingredients :
80 g. dried spelt
2 tsp. lemon juice
2 small tomatoes
Stems of aromatic greens (cilantro, parsley, dill) - to taste
150 ml. water
0.5 tsp. paprika, 1/3 tsp. salt, cinnamon (by the tip of a knife), 0.5 tsp. ginger, 0.5 tsp. ground fenugreek, 2/3 tsp. turmeric, 0.5 tsp. ground coriander. You can use a curry mixture instead of all of these
Step 1: Rinse the spelt and soak it overnight in enough water with lemon juice.
Step 2: We start preheating the oven to 200 degrees. Rinse the spelt again, chop the spices, cut tomatoes into slices or cubes, chop the stems and mix everything thoroughly in a deep bowl. If you want, you can add your favorite vegetables; it will not be superfluous at all.
Step 3: Transfer the mixture to a pot and add about 150 ml of water (it depends on the size of the pot: preferably, so that the water reaches the level of the stuffing).
Step 4. Cover the pot with a lid and put it in the oven for 1 hour.
Step 5: After 1 hour we take out the pot with spelt, decorate it with fresh herbs and serve.
